Day One

Awake this morning at WA’s favourite island getaway, Rottnest Island! A protected nature reserve, it’s home to the quokka, a small wallaby-like marsupial often famed for posing in ‘selfies’ with celebrity visitors! There will be plenty of opportunities for beach combing, relaxed snorkelling in waist deep water or perhaps spend some quality time in search of the catch of the day! The SCUBA divers will revel in the warm waters of the Leeuwin Current and explore pristine reefs which feature a variety of corals and fish, unique swim throughs and hidden caves. Alternatively, take a bus or bike your way around the island at your leisure. The ship’s helicopter will provide a different perspective of the island showcasing stunning views of turquoise bays, pink salt lakes and historic lighthouses. Rottnest always proves to be relaxed and fun-filled no matter which activity you choose! When you’re not on excursion, relax onboard TRUE NORTH and enjoy our revered cuisine in air-conditioned comfort. The alfresco bar will definitely be the spot to witness your first ‘Rotto Sunset’.

Begin the day with a leisurely walk around the rugged coast of Cape Naturaliste, these walking tracks are some of the very best in the south west and offer breath-taking views. The adventure boats will depart for a scenic meander along the coastline, or ‘wet a line’ with our experienced fishing guides and delight the chefs with freshly caught fare! Divers will have the opportunity to explore the former Australian Navy Destroyer – HMAS Swan, one of the largest accessible dive wrecks in the Southern Hemisphere.

Then join a tour of the world-renowned Margaret River wine region. Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery aboard our luxury coach as we guide you along the south west wine trail to culinary heaven! An exquisite lunch with accompanying wines will showcase Margaret River’s finest farm produce and local seafoods.

This evening we will enjoy a cool beverage and hors d’oeuvres at Eagle  Bay as we drink-in a blazing West Aussie sunset! This long stretch of white sandy beach skirts stunning azure water and has a Mediterranean feel – without the crowds!

Day Three

Another day in paradise – perhaps an early morning swim and breakfast on the deck before the adventure boats set off again. The tranquil water of Geographe Bay is an attraction within itself. Sheltered from prevailing winds there are 30km of pristine beach to enjoy! Perhaps visit the Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. The jetty took over 95 years to build and stretches 2km into the ocean. A helicopter flight to Margaret River and a wine tasting at our feature winery is sure to be a highlight today! After a relaxing alfresco style lunch on the outside bar deck; sightseeing, fishing, snorkelling and diving will all be on this afternoon’s agenda. Recognised as one of Australia’s top shore dives, the Busselton Jetty is home to over 300 marine species. The underwater structure provides artificial home to a remarkable array of vividly coloured tropical and sub-tropical corals, sponges, fish and invertebrates. Then it’s back onboard to enjoy the ultimate comfort of the TRUE NORTH and another exquisite dining experience.
